ACMPE Continuing Education

All North Carolina MGMA state conferences and webinars meet the requirements for continuing education credit hours from the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE). These CE hours are good for certification requirements.

Applying For Continuing Education Credit

To apply your North Carolina MGMA programs toward your ACMPE continuing education requirement, please calculate the total number of clock hours you spent in educational sessions and enter your hours online at www.mgma.com.

The updated ACMPE tracking portal makes it easy to manage your credit hours. Take a moment to review the instructions for steps on how to log in, view, and enter your hours.

  1. Sign in to MGMA.com.
  2. Select “My Dashboard” found on the top right corner.
  3. Select “Manage Your Account” found in the top right corner.
  4. Select “Claim Education Credits” found on the left-hand side.
  5. Select “ACMPE Tracking” found on the left-hand side.
  • From this page, you can also access your complete “ACMPE Transcript” and Fellows can log their “Volunteer Activity” hours.
  1. Select “Add ACMPE Continuing Education Hours” and follow the prompts.

NCMGMA Event CEU Worksheets

NCMGMA members who passed their ACMPE exams in 2018 will have until 6/30/19 to complete the 50 hours of CE requirement.  We have attached CEU worksheets from our 2018-2019 events.

Latest Coronavirus Updates

  • As a reminder, MGMA national, state and local LIVE webinars and events count towards the 12 MGMA LIVE required hours.
  • Upcoming MGMA national LIVE events can be found by visiting the events page. This includes upcoming live webinars.
  • With the current pandemic, there a lot of questions on the live hours. These are not required to be face to face- just LIVE. Please encourage your state virtual conferences or webinars.
