During this webinar, primary care leaders in NC will discuss how practices are preparing to welcome more patients back into the office and

patient expectations going forward due to COVID-19.

Dr. Betsey Tilson, state health director and chief medical officer of the NC DHHS, and Dr. Shannon Dowler, chief medical officer of NC Medicaid, will discuss what easing of restrictions might look like, what practices should be thinking about, the importance of implementing surveillance, and the role telemedicine will continue to play in that transition. 

Dr. Susan Mims, the president of the NC Pediatric Society, andDr. David Rinehart, president of the NC Academy of Family Physicians, will also discuss strategies that practices are using or gearing up for as restrictions ease.
