MGMA Webinar: 2020 Fellowship Preparation Series

Registration includes both webinars and exams that allow you to claim continuing education credit. Part I will be held on May 7, 2020 and Part II on May 28, 2020 at 1:00 pm ET (12:00 pm CT, 11:00 am MT, 10:00 am PT). These webinars are eligible for ACMPE and CEU credit and will be made available as recordings.

Once you have achieved board certification, you are eligible to become a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE). This webinar is an overview of the Fellowship requirements, advice, topic selection, proposal and plan essentials, and resources available to help you get started.

This 60-minute webinar will provide you with the knowledge to: 
  • Conclude the purpose and requirements to complete Fellowship
  • Develop an understanding of how to get started, topic selection
  • Measure the elements of a Fellowship submission

ACMPE Fellowship Preparation Part II: Developing a Business Plan

During this session, the presenters will discuss how to proceed once you receive your feedback letters and the potential outcomes. They will also cover how to develop your proposal into a business plan from the templates that you will be proud to contribute to the Body of Knowledge (BOK) for Medical Practice Management. This session will also touch on what it means to become a Fellow and the steps following the acceptance of your final submission.
 
This 60-minute webinar will provide you with the knowledge to: 
  • Conclude the grading team results and understand next steps to develop the submission
  • Articulate a business plan, understanding the components required
  • Establish that your final submission contributes to the BOK and the Fellowship recognition

ACMPE is the certification and Fellowship authority of MGMA.
